Singapore has approximately 733 km2 of island territories.
But Singapore also has more than 1067 km2 of ocean territory (EEZ).
If just 5% to 10% of their ocean territory were utilized for floating farms and aquaculture, Singapore might be able to supply all of its food and actually become a food exporter.
