Nominal GDP and per capita GDP of Top 30
Free and Non Free Nations of the World
Nominal ($ millions) and Per Capita ($)
Of the top 30 richest nations on Earth, 21 are designated as free nations on the Freedom House rankings. Only five are designated as not free, four are designated as partially free, and only five nations are designated as not free.
Of the top eleven nations on the list with the highest per capital GDP, all are free nations with only Singapore designated as partially free.
Free Taiwan has a per capital GDP of $42,103 while authoritarian China with its more than $20 trillion nominal GDP only has a per capital GDP of $14, 874.
So it’s statistically obvious that the embrace of authoritarianism by some political factions is clearly not the path to prosperity for the average working man and woman on Earth!
